These Terms & Conditions define how services are provided, billed, and managed by The IT Guy LLC. They establish clear expectations for scope, pricing, and responsibilities. By approving an estimate or engaging services, you agree to the terms outlined below
Terms & Conditions
Scope of Work
All services are based on the scope defined in the estimate or agreement. Any work requested outside of the defined scope may be billed separately.
Pricing & Estimates
Pricing is provided as a good-faith estimate. Final labor and materials will be billed based on actual time and materials used. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Labor & Billing
Labor rates are based on the type of service performed. Labor is billed in 15-minute increments, with a minimum of 30 minutes per service visit unless otherwise noted.
Change Requests
Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be approved before additional work is performed. Changes may result in additional charges and may impact project timelines.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. A late fee of 1.5% per month may be applied to past-due balances.
Service Suspension
The IT Guy LLC reserves the right to suspend ongoing services, access, or support for accounts with outstanding balances until payment is brought current
Equipment Ownership
All equipment remains the property of The IT Guy LLC until paid in full.
8Manufacturer Warranty
Equipment and materials provided are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty, if applicable. The IT Guy LLC does not provide additional warranties beyond those offered by the manufacturer and is not responsible for manufacturer defects or failures. Warranty claims must be handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s policies, though assistance may be provided at standard labor rates.
Customer-Provided Equipment
The IT Guy LLC is not responsible for the performance, reliability, or compatibility of customer-provided equipment. While recommendations may be provided, the client is responsible for ensuring equipment meets project requirements. Additional time required to install, configure, or troubleshoot customer-provided equipment may be billed at standard labor rates.
Shipping & Materials
Shipping reflects standard delivery unless otherwise noted. Expedited or freight shipping will be billed separately. The IT Guy LLC is not responsible for shipping delays, carrier issues, or damage occurring during transit. Any additional costs resulting from shipping issues may be billed as necessary.
Delays & Unforeseen Conditions
Project timelines are estimates and may be impacted by factors outside of our control, including but not limited to weather, material availability, site conditions, or third-party delays. The IT Guy LLC is not responsible for delays caused by these conditions, and additional labor or costs may apply.
Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for providing access to the work site, necessary power, internet connectivity, and a safe working environment. Delays caused by site conditions or lack of access may result in additional charges.
Service Warranty
Services are provided based on best effort and industry standards. The IT Guy LLC does not guarantee specific outcomes, particularly when dependent on third-party systems, networks, or equipment.
Limitation of Liability
The IT Guy LLC is not responsible for pre-existing issues, third-party service failures, or conditions outside of our control. While reasonable precautions are taken, The IT Guy LLC is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
Acceptance of Terms
By approving an estimate or engaging services, the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
